New ideas for the perfect Mothers day gift!

Hi there! Hope you've all had a great start to the month. We've been busy with orders and out and about looking for new vintage china which we have added to the website!

Mothers day is fast approaching and as the weather is getting lovelier by the day what better way to show her you care than organising her a special 'tea for two' on Mothers day. We have some lovely tea sets which are sure to make her smile on her special day!

We've just added this wonderful set to the website for 4 people. the set includes 4 beautiful tea cup trios by Regency, they all have a lovely violet floral design on them and are in fabulous condition! We have also added a mini cake stand for two made from a lovely matching side plate.

New pretties to buy on the site including new vintage china and tea party inspired jewellery

Hope you all had a great day yesterday! Isn't it great that the evenings are getting lighter now? I can definitely sense that spring is in the air! Here at Pretty Vintage Tea Party we have been busy packaging vintage china all ready to go to their new homes!

We've also added a couple of new pieces to the website including this lovely Royal Grafton, Indian Tree Milk jug. It's quite a large one, holding almost 1 pint of liquid, so great if you are having a larger tea party!

These hand made tea party inspired charm bracelets have been made by myself. I also have a website called Cherished Trinkets where I design and make vintage inspired jewellery. Since the Tea Party website has been live I have been feeling all inspired by tea party china and decided to make these bracelets to accompany you to your vintage tea party! Each bracelet features adorable cupcake images, teapots, teacups, clay flowers and pearls. Certainly a must for your vintage jewellery or tea party collection!

We've been so busy over the past few weeks! We adapted the website so that you can now buy your vintage china and have it delivered to you!

Over the past couple of weeks we've collected some lovely vintage china for you so you can host your own vintage tea party at home! We have some beautiful and ever popular cake stands, all made from beautiful vintage china plates! Each plate has been hand drilled, we then use quality elaborate cake stand fittings to make your cake stand even more beautiful!

We also have some gorgeous mis-match tea sets for you! We decided that we could create some beautiful tea sets from old forgotten about vintage china so that you will own a beautiful unique tea set that nobody else will have!

Each piece of china has been inspected for damage so that you know your genuine vintage china is still of high quality!

New baby and new Crockery!

We are so happy to tell you that our baby Harry was born on July 20th at 1.48 in the morning weighing 8lb 4oz. Harry has been settling into our home for the past few weeks and is a good baby so far although we do miss our sleep! 

In the mean time we have been a little quiet on the tea hire front but will be out and about looking for new items soon! We did manage to pick up these lovely tea cup Trios over the weekend to add to our collection though!

Cherished Tea Party Hire website is now live!

The Cherished Tea Party Hire website went live last week! Kieran and I have been really excited as we have been building our Tea party hire collection over the past couple of weeks! You can also find some delightful vintage tea cup candles for sale on the site. My Mum has been making these pretty candles for a while, they make a perfect gift for your home or a special someone! I shall also be adding some tea party jewellery to the site, as I also have another website where I design and make vintage inspired jewellery. I have been making jewellery for about 7 years and have quite often designed pieces inspired by Alice in Wonderland, tea and cake and tea parties in general.

Please do take a look at the website! We will be supplying tea party crockery including tea pots, cake stands, tea cups and milk jugs to the Manchester area. If you need anything please just get in touch via the contact form on our website!

So here we are!

I'm so pleased to announce that myself and my fiance Kieran have decided to set up our business in tea party hire! We are both really excited as it's something we both feel passionate about and both enjoy. Having hosted tea parties of our own we decided to start collecting some unusual vintage tea party cups and saucers, tea pots, sugar bowls and milk jugs etc until eventually we decided that it would be a fabulous idea to help other people host their own tea parties by allowing them to hire some of our much loved pieces!

Our pieces will be especially suitable for Baby showers, hen parties, weddings and birthday parties. You really don't need an excuse to have a little get together with some tea and cake, lemonade and sandwiches so please don't hesitate to get in touch if you need our help! We are hoping to hire our pieces to people living in areas in and around Manchester and they will be available for pick up or delivery!

We currently have a website which is under construction but for now you can find us on Facebook or indeed this blog if you need any advice or guidance in the service we offer! Yesterday we had a little photo shoot to show a small selection of our vintage tea ware! Of course after the camera had gone we had left over cakes and tea to consume so had a little tea party of our own!
